Microgreens

Amaranth - Variety Red Garnet

Amaranthus Tricolor

Our amaranth microgreens are grown with non-GMO organic seeds.

Amaranth has long been used as a gluten free grain. The whole plant is edible. In its microgreen form, amaranth adds a great deal of flower and nutrition to any dish.

Amaranth has a mild mustard taste, sweet, nutty with a delicate crunch. It is best eaten raw.

It pairs with green apples, cheese, onions, peppers, and seafood. We add this to our salmon or pasta dishes. We use amaranth in salads, sandwiches or just as a beautiful garnish.

Amaranth microgreen is great for your digestion and is known to boost the immune system. It provides protein and fiber and has been linked to aiding weight loss because Amaranth helps metabolize fatty acids into energy, and it is a natural anti-inflammatory.

Arugula

Our arugula microgreens are grown with non-GMO organic seeds.

These are our favorite microgreens because of their intense flavor profile. They are also very fast growing, so we are never out. We use arugula microgreens on salads, pizza or just in place of any green where we are looking for a vibrate peppery bite of flavor. We love to use these to make dressings, pesto, and chimichurri sauce.

Arugula microgreens taste exactly like their full-grown self, except with a big kick in flavor. They are so small and beautiful but hold a huge amount of flavor. Nutty and sweet at first bite and then they have a spicy finish that leaves you, like “WOW”.
Arugula microgreens are loaded with beta carotene, vitamin E boosting the immune system, in addition to being high in fiber, low in sugar and calories. Arugula is an excellent source of vitamin A and K. The same amount of calcium is contained in arugula microgreens as is found in spinach. A benefit of the arugula microgreens is that it has a much lower amount of oxalates compared to spinach, which prevent full calcium absorption.

Basil

These are a purple variety with a metallic green undertone. Containing 4 to 5 times more nutritional benefits than its adult self. Basil microgreens are perfect for brightening up any main dish or salad. With a soft texture and intense basil flavor, these microgreens are an excellent choice for caprese, pesto, pasta, or seafood.

Basil microgreens have a spicy clove and mint flavor. If you love basil, like we do this one is beautiful in appearance and flavor.
Basil microgreens contain protein, vitamins E, A, K, B6, and C; as well as calcium, iron, zinc, magnesium, copper, phosphorous, potassium, and known to be an anti-Inflammatory & anti-bacterial aid.

We put these colorful earthy micros in salads, on sandwiches, and tacos, or simply as a garnish. These beautiful microgreens pack a punch with flavor and a delicate crunch. They taste like beets, for sure, with a sweet nutty flavor and some say a bit like spinach.

Slightly crunchy with a mild nutty and earthy sweet beat flavor. Bulls blood beets pair well with aromatics chives, leeks, ginger, cheese. The iridescent bright reddish pink stems, red leaf with green undertone makes it a beautify garnish on any dish.
Beet microgreens are a great way to add phytonutrients to your diet, or antioxidants, which are compounds produced by plants that provide health benefits to your body. They may help prevent forms of cancer and are great to build your immune system. Rich in Vitamins C, K and A These microgreens also provide copper, magnesium, potassium, calcium, and lower amounts of phosphorus, zinc, and folate. Helping maintain and grow healthy skin because of the many essential vitamins and minerals they contain. These are a great addition to avocado toast, salads, and sandwiches. Broccoli microgreens are noted to have 40% more nutrients than their adult selves making them a great addition to your daily diet.

Broccoli microgreens have a fresh mild flavor like that of cabbage. It grows very fast and is bright green when ready to harvest. You can literally add these to any dish, smoothy or salad. Broccoli greens are a great daily benefit for any diet.
Broccoli is said to be the healthiest of all microgreens making it a “Super” food for sure. In comparison to broccoli, broccoli microgreens have a higher content of the antioxidant sulforaphane, which helps lower blood glucose levels and can protect against heart disease and cancer.

Crunchy with a substantial water content. Cantaloupe tastes literally like its adult self. This is a great stand-alone microgreen to snack on or add to your favorite salad or dessert.

Chrysanthemum

Our Chrysanthemum microgreens are grown with non-GMO organic seeds.

Often called Chop Suey greens or Garland Daisy.

Chrysanthemum is similar in flavor to green leaf lettuce. Slight bitterness with a bright crunchy texture. This is a great addition to salads or use to finish a soup.

Chrysanthemum contains vitamins B, C, and K and folic acid. Helps with digestion and immune system.

Cilantro

Cilantro microgreens can literally be added to any dish. We love these on eggs and toast, salads, and tacos. We make dressings, cilantro cream and chimichurri sauce with these micros. You can finish soups or literally any dish with these beautiful delicate greens.

Cilantro has a strong bright and fresh smell. They taste like their adult self with a lemon and fresh grass flavor.

Cilantro microgreens contain very high levels of the carotenoid’s lutein/ zeaxanthin, violaxanthin and beta carotene, which are fat soluble antioxidants important for organ function and protecting cellular structures from damage. Cilantro microgreens contain 3 times more beta carotene than the mature leaves.

Corn

Corn microgreens are grown in our organic soil and blacked out for their whole growth cycle. This is why they are vibrant yellow when they come to you. We do not allow the photosynthesis process to happen.

Corn microgreens are sweet! They literally are like eating sugar, or corn right off the cobb. We feel these go great with a spicy dish like chili, perfectly. They are so vibrant yellow in color they are sure to be a wow factor on any of your dishes.

Cress

Cress has small green leaves and is part of the mustard family.

Sweet peppery, tangy flavor. Great addition to sandwiches and as a soup garnish.
Cress is low in calories and packs essential nutrients like vitamins A, C, and K, as well as omega-3 fatty acids. As such, this tiny herb may aid immunity, disease prevention, weight loss, organ function, inflammation, heart health, and diabetes.

Dill

Dill microgreens are very delicate but pack a punch in flavor. Dill microgreens are a great addition to salads and sandwiches. I add these to a sweet potato salad, fish and use when quick pickling vegetables.

Dill microgreen is a favorite. It is light, delicate, and so flavorful. Mild flavor of lemon and sweet grass yet maintains a savory flavor of traditional dill. Light, bright green makes any plate look finished and beautiful.
Dill microgreens are excellent source of fiber and contain vitamins A, B- complex, vitamin C iron, manganese, magnesium, calcium, phosphorus, potassium, sodium, and zinc. Fun fact, they can help with bad breath.

Kohlrabi

Kohlrabi has small dark green leaves with a rose-colored stem and is part of the mustard family.

Kohlrabi has a mild cabbage flavor with green leaves and pink iridescent stems. We love to garnish with these because they are so visually pleasing. We use these in salads and blend in smoothies.
Kohlrabi has a whole host of benefits, including 100 percent of your daily value of vitamin C. It also contains B1, B6, B9, potassium, phosphorus, and calcium.

They are great to use in moderation, in place of any chive or onion.

Leeks have a strong onion flavor with notes of savory light garlic. Though they are on the sweeter side, they pack a punch, so don’t overdo it. These are beautiful to finish to Asian soups, tacos, or in place where chives or green onions are used. Ther are delicate and have a velvety texture.

This variety of mustard microgreens has a more traditional flavor you would expect. It is very mild Japanese mustard We love this on salads and sandwiches. It makes a nice finish to tapas with its delicate purple-green color.

Mizuna is slightly bitter with a peppery taste.

Mizuna is and excellent source of vitamin A and vitamin C, it is a rich source of antioxidant glucosinolates and contains calcium, iron, magnesium, manganese, potassium, zinc, and selenium.

This variety of mustard microgreens is one of our favorites. It is great on fish, in soups, and in salads. It has a kick and a finish flavor of wasabi, so this is a must on some sashimi or sushi rolls.

This mustard microgreen has a very pronounced flavor of horseradish, or some describe as wasabi.

It’s a spicy one for sure!

Mustard has a ton of health benefits such as, antioxidants, appetite stimulant, and helping digestion. Mustard is said to help relieve congestion, alleviate allergies, infections, and colds. Mustard inhibits growth of cancer cells and helps provide relief to rheumatic arthritis. A superfood for sure.

Pea microgreens come in many varieties and are all subtly different in size, appearance, and taste.  They are so beautiful as a whimsical garnish or as a main ingredient in a salad.  They are great to add to stir fry, and my favorite on avocado toast.

For the most part peas have a mild grass flavor with a nutty sweet finish.

Pea shoots are an excellent source of micronutrients that are often lacking in many people’s meals. They’ll add a bit of protein and fiber to your diet, as well as vitamins C, A, K, and other vital vitamins and minerals.

Shiso

Shiso microgreens are part of the mint family. With its strong anise flavor, I enjoy these in salads and soups. We often add shiso in our chimichurri sauce and are a great finish on top of fish. You can infuse shiso to make a great simple syrup for cocktails, making it a great addition to the bar.

Shiso has a strong black licorice flavor, with notes of cinnamon, clove, and basil. Shiso is a very versatile microgreen used wherever basil or mint may be used.
Shiso is a rich source of omega-3 fatty acids, essential nutrients that build brain cells, control clotting, and have been reputed to offer protection against heart disease and stroke. It has anti-inflammatory properties are used to treat asthma, arthritis, and eczema. The shiso leaves contain large amounts of calcium and iron.

Green leaf sorrel has a vibrant tangy lemony flavor. Excellent to finish a fish dish or brighten a salad. You could easily use this in the pace of lemon. Bright green and delicate in texture.

We use these amazing sunflower microgreens in place of traditional sprouts. We use sunflower in soups, on sandwiches, wraps and as a main green in our salad. We like to finish protein dishes with a generous sprinkling of this green to add richness and crunch. Sunflower is great in a stir fry and holds up well to heat. I start everyday with these crunchy treats on my eggs and toast.

You can cook them or eat them raw to maintain nutritional integrity.
